Kendra is my hair saver! I went natural in 2015, but I transitioned for a year and a half before that. When I finally made the decision to chop all of the relaxer out, Kendra was the first person I reached out to. Since 2015 she has been my hair guru - giving me advice on how to take care of my hair from deep conditions, twist outs, to rinsing with cold water. It’s been almost 5 years since I transitioned from being relaxed to natural. I usually wear protective styles such as units or braids. While wearing these styles, I know that I can’t neglect giving care to my natural hair. With thick, 4C hair, I struggle on wash days. Kendra suggested a routine that she thought would be best to make my hair less of a pain to manage...even down to certain products. After trying the routine, my hair felt soft and moisturized and was easier to manipulate. She’s my go-to for a lot of things, and natural hair tips is one.
